This summer, expand the exquisiteness of your wardrobe by making Shawls, Shrugs, Ponchos & Scarves with this amazingly beautiful & light-weight Motif.
Material Required:
~ 1 ball of 50 gram DK Yarn
~ Crochet Hook Size = 4mm (US G/6)
Abbreviations:
Ch = Chain
Sc = Single Crochet
Hdc = Half-Double Crochet
Dc = Double Crochet
Tr = Treble
Ss = Slip Stitch
Sp = Space
Sk = Skip
St = Stitch
Special Stitch:
Treble Cluster:
*Yarn over the hook twice. Insert the hook into the desired stitch and pull a loop (4 loops on hook), Yarn over and draw through one loop. Yarn over and draw through 2 loops, again yarn over and draw through 2 loops,* repeat ** 3 times (you will have 4 loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through all loops.
Motif Pattern:
Start with a magic ring of ch5.
Round 1: ch 1, 8 sc in magic ring, join with a ss to 1st sc. (8 sc)
Round 2: *ch3, ss in next sc*, repeat ** 8 times. (8 ch3)

Round 3: ch1, 2 sc in ch-3 sp (8 times), join last sc with a ss to 1st sc. (16 sc)
Round 4: *ch5, ss in next sc,* repeat ** 16 times. (16 ch5)
Round 5: ss in ch-5 sp, ch3 (counts as dc), 6 dc in ch-5 sp, 3 sc in next ch-5 sp (twice), 2 dc & 1 hdc in next ch-5 sp, 3 hdc in next ch sp, 1 hdc & 2 dc in next ch sp, 3 sc in next ch-5 sp (twice), 7 dc in next ch sp, 3 sc in next ch-5 sp (twice), 2 dc & 1 hdc in next ch-5 sp, 3 hdc in next ch sp, 1 hdc & 2 dc in next ch sp, 3 sc in next ch-5 sp (twice), join with a ss to 1st dc (I.e. ch3) of the round. (22 dc, 24 sc, 10 hdc)
Round 6: *ch10, sk 6 sts, ss in next st, ch5, sk 2 sts, ss in next st, ch5, sk 2 sts, ss in next st, ch10, sk next 8 sts, ss in next st, ch5, sk 2 sts, ss in next st, ch5, sk 2 sts, ss in next st,* repeat ** 2 times. (4 ch10, 8 ch5)
Round 7: ss in ch-10 sp, ch3 (counts as 1st strand of tr cluster), complete remaining 2 strands of tr cluster, *ch3, tr cluster, ch7, tr cluster, ch3 tr cluster, 5 sc in ch-5 sp (twice), 2 dc, 4 hdc, 2 dc in ch-10 sp, 5 sc in ch-5 sp (twice), tr cluster,* repeat ** 2 times. Omitting the last tr cluster, join the round with a ss. Fasten off.
