This beautiful Motif can either be used
in making big projects like Blankets, Afghans, Rugs or individually for decorative purposes. It will accentuate
the beauty of your home.
Material Required:
~ 2 balls
of 50 g Worsted weight yarn (both of different colors; we will name them as
“Color A” & “Color B”)
~ Crochet Hook size =
4mm (US G/6)
Skill Level:
~ Intermediate
Terms Used:
Ch = Chain
Sc = Single Crochet
Dc = Double Crochet
Htr = Half Treble
Ss = Slip Stitch
Sp = Space

Motif Pattern:
Start with Color A, make a magic ring of chain 4.
Round 1: ch1, 10 sc, ss into 1st
sc. (Don’t cut the yarn.)

Round 2: Join Color B. (If you don’t

cluster here.) in next sc, ch4, ss in next sc*, repeat **
around.

Round 3: With Color A, ch3 (counts as
dc), 3 dc in ch-4 sp, *ch5, 4 dc in ch-4 sp (twice),* repeat ** 4 times, ch5, 4
dc in ch-4 sp. Join with a ss to 1st dc (I.e. ch3) of the round.

Round 4: With Color B, ch1, sc in
next 3 dc, *sc in ch-5 sp, ch4, 3 htr cluster, ch4, 1 sc, 8 sc in next 8 dc,*
repeat ** 4 times, sc in ch-5 sp, ch4, 3 htr cluster, ch4, sc in ch-5 sp, 5 sc
in last 5 dc. Join with a ss to 1 sc of the round.

Round 5: With Color A, ch1, sc in
next 3 sc, *2 sc in ch-4 sp, ch2, sc on top of 3 htr, ch2, 2 sc in ch-4 sp, sc
in next 10 sc, * repeat ** 4 times, 2 sc in ch 4 space, ch 2, sc in top of 3 htr,
ch 2, 2 sc in ch 4 space, sc in each of next 7 sc, join with a ss to 1 sc of
the round.

Round 6: With Color B, ch 1, sc in
next 3 sc, *2 dc in ch-2 sp, ch5, skip sc, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, sc in next 14 sc,*
repeat ** 4 times, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, ch5, 2dc in ch-2 sp, sc in next 12 sc. Join
with a ss to the first sc of the round. Fasten off.
