When I started crocheting, I was very puzzled how would I join
new yarn color in my project? but now l am an expert in it.
In this blog, l will tell you how to join yarn color without a
slip-knot. So let’s get started.
How to change yarn color in crochet, (Step 1)
In the first pic, you see that l am working with sc, but you can
use your desired stitch. I have 2 stitches on hook. That is an incomplete sc. Now here,
you attach your new color yarn to complete sc. Yarn over the new yarn and draw through
both loops on hook to complete the stitch.
How to change yarn color in crochet, (step 2)
Likewise, if you are doing dc, you will make dc until there remain
two loops on hook. Then, simply take your new color yarn, yarn over and draw this
new-yarn-loop through both loops on hook.
